When in Lakawon: Party at Tawhai Floating Bar

Lakawon Travel Video:

As someone born from Negros, Lakawon has always been a go to beach for us locals.  Right before it was developed into a luxury resort, with just the beach itself, it will make you visit this island.  There is just something about the place that makes everything beautiful and I can’t put my finger on it.  For one, I seem to think that every photo you take in here is just hands down pretty.  This island has the best lighting, may it be sunrise, sunset or even in the middle of the day when it’s scorching hot and wouldn’t let you take complimenting shots. This place beats the odds.

But what makes tourists and locals go here is the Tawhai Floating Bar which is hailed as the biggest in Asia.  And did I mention that everything here is just so cheap?  With just a 250php entrance fee to this bar, you can lay on the side of the boat and enjoy a free drink.  You can even “boat jump”; it’s crazy and amazing.

So what are you waiting for, plan a day trip to this island with your family or friends.  With its prime location near the capital and the airport, you will make the most of your adventure.  If you need another reason to visit Bacolod City, then this is it.
